About the Old Dance Hall

The building was built around 1915 as one of the original "Colony" homes. After a kitchen fire damaged some of the structure, the hall was renovated by the Atascadero Grange #563 in the early 1940s and it served as a USO dance hall during WWII for Camp Roberts.
